Jang Ki Yong & Chun Woo Hee reportedly lead new romance drama by “Snowdrop” director, filming begins this August

After getting discharged from the military, Jang Ki Yong paired up with Chun Woo Hee for a fantasy romance.

According to Tenasia report on July 18th, Jang Ki Yong and Chun Woo Hee have been confirmed as the lead actors of the new drama “Although I Am Not a Hero (literal title)”. This is Jang Ki Yong’s comeback work after getting discharged from the military.

Director Cho Hyun Tak, who created “More Than a Maid”, “Mirror of the Witch”, “SKY Castle”, “Snowdrop”, etc., will be in charge of directing this work. The script is written by “Hope For Love”, “Marriage Not Dating” and “Introverted Boss” screenwriter Joo Hwa Mi.

Jang Ki Yong is expected to play the male protagonist Jang Hae Joo, who loses his supernatural power due to disease in modern days. Chun Woo Hee will portray the female lead Do Da Hae, who never loses hope in life and family after getting rescued from a fire by a man whom she doesn’t know his name or face.

The drama is planned to begin filming next month. The broadcast schedule is still under discussion.
