The cast lineup for upcoming tvN drama “Family” has been revealed, with Jang Na Ra and Jang Hyuk among other notable names.
According to Korean medial outlets, Jang Hyuk, Jang Na Ra, Chae Jung An, and Kim Nam Hee have confirmed their appearances in the cable channel tvN’s new drama “Family” (Screenwriter Jeong Yoo Seon, Director Jang Jeong Do and Lee Jung Mook).
Scheduled to premiere in April, “Family” is a thrilling espionage comedy about a NIS agent husband who disguises himself as an ordinary office worker and a sweet yet brutal wife who dreams of a perfect family. Jang Jeong Do, who oversaw a variety of hits such as the dramas “Live”, “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim”, “The Crowned Clowned”, “Our Blues”, and “Alchemy of Souls”, is in charge of directing, while the undefeated “Golden Combination” of Jang Hyuk and Jang Na Ra are raising expectations, as this is their fourth work together after 9 years.
In “Family” Jang Hyuk takes on the role of “Kwon Do Hoon”, an agent of the National Intelligence Service (NIS) who disguises as an employee of a trading company and is married to Kang Yoo Ra (Jang Na Ra). Kwon Do Hoon is also an experienced sniper with a quick, accurate, and clean one-shot, one-kill streak. Although he neglects his family due to his busy schedule, he is a husband who loves his wife Kang Yoo Ra more than anyone else.
Meanwhile, Jang Na Ra plays Kang Yoo Ra, the wife of Kwon Do Hoon. She has dreamed of creating a perfect family her whole life, and is a housekeeper at the highest level. She is one who tries to protect her family, and hides a secret behind her lovely appearance.
Above all, it is the fourth collaboration of Jang Hyuk and Jang Na Ra, who never failed to hit the “jackpot” whenever they work together, raising the expectations.
