J-Hope departs for Los Angeles today… Join BTS members to attend the 64th Grammy Awards

J-Hope, a member of boy group BTS (RM, Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Suga, V, Jungkook), will board a plane to the United States to attend the 64th Grammy Awards.

According to Star News on April 2nd, J-Hope will depart for Los Angeles, USA via Incheon International Airport today. J-Hope will travel to Las Vegas, where the 64th Grammy Awards is held, via Los Angeles to join BTS members.

Earlier, on March 24th, J-Hope was confirmed to be infected with COVID-19 and received quarantine treatment. Jungkook, who first left for the United States on March 27th to prepare for the “Grammy Awards” performance, was diagnosed with COVID-19 in Las Vegas and is undergoing quarantine treatment. Accordingly, except for J-Hope and Jungkook, five BTS members departed for the United States on March 28th.

Afterwards, J-Hope expressed his intention to join schedules in America soon after completing the quarantine period. J-Hope said on the fan community platform Weverse on March 30th, “I ate well and slept well during the quarantine period, so I got better quickly. Meanwhile, the 64th Grammy Awards will be held at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, USA at 9 a.m. on April 4th (KST). The Grammy Awards is the most prestigious pop music awards ceremony in the United States. BTS will perform at the Grammy Awards for 3 consecutive years from 2020. In addition, BTS was nominated for the BEST POP DUO/GROUP PERFORMANCE category with their hit song “Butter”.

In addition, BTS will hold the offline concert “BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LAS VEGAS” at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, USA on April 8th~9th and April 15th~16th (local time).
