J-Hope is the next BTS member to test positive for COVID-19.
On March 24th, Big Hit Music, BTS’s management company, announced through the fan community platform Weverse, “J-Hope had a sore throat, so he visited the hospital on March 23rd and underwent a PCR test, and was diagnosed with COVID-19 this morning.”
According to the agency, J-Hope has completed the third dose of COVID-19 vaccination and currently shows no symptoms other than a sore throat. He is in self-quarantine and receiving treatment at home.
Except for J-Hope, BTS members present no special symptoms at the moment.
Big Hit Music added, “J-Hope will continue to join activities scheduled for next month after he is done with in-home treatment. As the company considers the artist’s health and safety our top priority, we will do our best to help J-Hope recover as soon as possible. We will also make sure to cooperate with the quarantine requests and guidelines of authorities.”
