On September 30 at 2 p.m., IZNA (Koko, Mai, Ryu Sa-rang, Bang Jee Min, Choi Jung Eun, and Jeong Sae Bi) held a showcase for their second mini-album Not Just Pretty at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.

This release marks the group’s first comeback as a six-member team. Formed through Mnet’s audition program I-LAND 2 in 2024, IZNA officially debuted in November of the same year. However, Yoon Ji Yoon halted activities just three months after debut due to health reasons, and on August 19, she officially withdrew from the group, leaving IZNA to continue as six members.

When asked about returning without Yoon Ji Yoon, Ryu Sa-rang admitted, “It’s definitely disappointing that we can’t promote together this time, but we’re cheering each other on in our own journeys. Since this is our second mini-album, we’ve poured extra care and love into every track, so I hope everyone looks forward to it.”

The title track Mamma Mia delivers a message of trusting one’s instincts and boldly declaring, “I will be myself,” even amidst endless rules and criticism from the world. Produced by global hitmaker Teddy, the track highlights a new charm distinct from IZNA’s earlier releases. The album is officially released at 6 p.m. on September 30.
