Girl group IVE challenged a dark concept fans have never seen before
On October 9th, Starship Entertainment released concept images for the song “Baddie” of IVE’s new album “I’ve MINE” on the group’s official SNS channels. IVE collaborated with British musician and creative director Hannah Diamond to present impressive concept photos.
First, Ahn Yu-jin showed off her wild charm on a motorbike. The burning bouquet with scattering petals created a dramatic scene. Gaeul sat on a racing game console and stared at the camera with one hand on the handle. The bright light from the game monitor and broken glasses added an intense vibe to the photo. Unlike her lovely pigtail hairstyle, Rei captivated fans with her chic expression on a bicycle.
Jang Won-young and Liz were seen crying with big red ribbons on their heads. Lastly, Leeseo was holding a game console while wearing a headphone. The lights from the game console added a mysterious atmosphere.
The group photo shows IVE sitting in a movie theater and looking at something. The emotionless expression of the members wearing black uniforms in a dark background created a dark and thrilling mood.
For this new album, IVE has introduced new images of the members from various aspects. Following the pre-release tracks “Either Way” and “Off The Record”, the title song “Baddie”, which will be released on the 13th, is expected to bring about a different charm of IVE.
“Baddie” has an overwhelming atmosphere with simple yet abundant sounds. With lyrics written by rapper BIG Naughty and IVE’s powerful raps, the song will showcase a unique charm that K-pop fans have never seen before.
IVE will release “Baddie” on music sites and its music video at 1 p.m. (KST) on October 13th.
