IVE records more than one million in first-week sales with newest album “I’VE IVE” 

IVE becomes a million seller with their first full album, “I’VE IVE”, according to Hanteo Chart. 

On April 16th, IVE’s first full album “I’VE IVE” recorded a total sale of 1,082,000 copies on the day before. They are the third K-pop girl group, after BLACKPINK and aespa, to rack up more than one million in sale during the first week of release, according to Hanteo Chart.

In addition to album sales, IVE also recorded impressive digital chart achievements. The title track of IVE’s newest album, “I AM”, and their pre-release song, “Kitsch”, entered the MelOn Top 100 at first and second place, respectively.  

Yujin, leader of IVE, gave a speech at a press conference commemorating the release of the new album, “We prepared diligently, hoping to receive as much love for this release as our previous three singles did.” Moreover, she acknowledged the title the public gave to IVE, “Mega-hit 4th Generation Strongest”, saying, “We’re grateful to be called the strongest of the fourth generation. We will strive to be a team that lives up to that title.”
