The production company of “You Have Done Well” immediately denied the rumor that singer-actress IU (Lee Ji Eun) received 500 million won per episode.

Earlier on the same day, entertainment media outlet OSEN exclusively reported, “IU’s appearance fee in ‘You Have Done Well’ soared to 500 million won per episode.”

“You Have Done Well” drew attention early on thanks to the meeting between IU and Park Bo Gum.

“You Have Done Well” is a drama that depicts the adventure-filled life of Ae Soon (IU), a “rebellious” character born in Jeju in the 1950s, and Gwan Shik (Park Bo Gum), a diligent and quiet person who lacks knowledge when it comes to romance.

Writer Im Sang Choon, who is behind the success of various hit projects such as “Becky’s Back”, “Fight For My Way” and “When the Camellia Blooms”, and PD Kim Won Seok, who worked on “Misaeng”, “Signal” and “My Mister”, joined hands. As it is a period drama set in Jeju Island, it is known that a considerable amount of production cost will be invested in this work.
