The red carpet appearances of actors and actresses at the 43rd Blue Dragon Film Awards is drawing attention.
The 43rd Blue Dragon Film Awards ceremony is held at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul on November 25th. The ceremony, which started at 8:30 PM (KST), is hosted by Kim Hye Soo and Yoo Yeon Seok for 5 consecutive years. It is also attended by a top-star lineup, including Chun Woo Hee, Gong Seung Yeon, Tang Wei, Lee Yumi, Seo In Guk, Seo Eun Soo, Yoona, Lee Ji Eun (IU), Go Yoon Jung, and Cynthia.
Meanwhile, for the Best Picture category, “Broker”, “Kingmaker”, “Hansan: Rising Dragon”, “Hunt”, and “Decision to Leave” were nominated.
In particular, “Decision to Leave” was nominated for 13 categories, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Leading Actor and Best Leading Actress. “Hansan: Rising Dragon” was nominated in 10 categories, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Supporting Actor. “Hunt” was also nominated in 10 categories, including Best Picture, Best New Director, and Best Actor. Finally, the two movies “Broker” and “Kingmaker” were nominated in 7 categories.
The nominees for Best New Actress Award were Go Yoon Jung (Hunt), Kim Hye Yoon (The Girl on a Bulldozer), Kim Shin Young (Decision to Leave), Cynthia (The Witch 2), and Lee Ji Eun, also known as IU (The Broker).
The nominees for Best New Actor Award were Kim Dong Hwi (In Our Prime), Mu Jin Sung (Perhaps Love), Seo In Guk (Project Wolf Hunting), Ong Seong Wu (Life is Beautiful), and Lee Seo Jun (Hansan: Rising Dragon).
On the other hand, Park Hae Il (Decision to Leave), Sol Kyung Gu (Kingmaker), Song Kang Ho (Broker, Emergency Declaration), Lee Byung Hun (Emergency Declaration), and Jung Woo Sung (Hunt) are nominated for Best Leading Actor.
Finally, Park So Dam (Special Cargo) and Yum Jung Ah (Life is Beautiful), Yoona (Confidential Assignment 2: International), Chun Woo Hee (Anchor), and Tang Wei (Decision to Leave), competed in the Best Leading Actress category.
