Singer IU and BTS Suga will meet again.
On April 10th, IU announced the reunion with Suga through her SNS. IU uploaded a photo with Suga with the caption “IU’s Palette With Agust D (SUGA). 6 PM”.
At 6 PM on the same day, Suga will appear on “IU’s Palette” to share various stories.
The two reunited with “People Pt.2” following “Eight” three years ago. Suga participated in producing and featuring in IU’s digital single “Eight”, which was released in 2020. “Eight” drew attention with the meeting of two artists of the same age, IU and Suga.
Contrary to Suga’s featuring in “Eight”, IU featured in Suga’s album this time. “People Pt.2 (feat. IU)” is a pre-release song of Suga (Agust D)’s solo album “D-DAY”.
According to the latest chart announced by Japan’s Oricon on April 8th, “People Pt.2” topped the “Daily Digital Single Ranking” as soon as it was released. It also ranked 11th on the latest chart of “Daily Top Song Global” announced by Spotify as of April 7th.
Suga’s “D-DAY” will be released simultaneously worldwide on April 21st.
Meanwhile, IU admitted to dating actor Lee Jong Suk on Dec 31st last year. IU confessed through her fan cafe, “I and my long-time colleague are developing love and relying on each other. He has been cheering on me, saying ‘You’re cool, so cool’ for a long time and I’m thankful for that. He’s also a cute and reliable person, who gave me sincere encouragement.” Lee Jong Suk also said through his agency, “Actor Lee Jong Suk has recently developed from a close colleague relationship into a romantic relationship with IU. The two are continuing to seriously meet each other.”
