South Korean superstar IU has once again touched hearts with her generosity, marking Children’s Day with a meaningful act of giving.
According to reports, IU donated 50 million KRW (approximately $36,000 USD) to the Korea Child Welfare Association to support children living in welfare facilities across the country. The donation was made under the name “IUaena,” a combination of her name and her official fan club Uaena, symbolizing the shared spirit of kindness between the artist and her fans.
The funds will be used to improve living conditions and support the healthy development of underprivileged children. IU has consistently demonstrated her commitment to social causes, especially those involving youth and vulnerable communities.
