IU delivered a heavy news ahead of her concert

Singer IU’s agency delivered heavy yet decisive news.

IU‘s agency, EDAM Entertainment, posted a notice on its official Instagram on August 5th regarding IU’s concert fraudulent ticket trading policy. The agency emphasized its strict countermeasures, saying, “We will consider tickets purchased and acquired through any channels other than the official sales channels as illegal tickets.”

The agency said, “This concert’s ticket must be booked by personal reservation,” adding, “Attempts of reserving tickets for other people and transfers of ticket reservations will result in disadvantages. Illegal tickets will be canceled without prior notice and will be restricted from being used on-site.”

In the meantime, it nailed, saying, “If any unreasonable ticket transaction seat reservation or buyer is identified as a member of IU’s fan club, we will immediately exclude them from the fan club member list.” It also reiterated, “In the future, they will be permanently included in the blacklist and dropped from the shortlist in case there is any paid concert and paid fan club membership of IU hosted by the company.”

IU is the first Korean female singer to hold a solo concert at Jamsil Main Stadium. The solo concert will be held at the Olympic Main Stadium at Jamsil Sports Complex in Seoul for two days on the 17th and 18th of August.
