ITZY Reveals Fierce Dedication to Album Preparation: “Practice 8 Hours a Day”

On the January 17 broadcast of SBS Power FM’s “Choi Hwa-jung’s Power Time”, ITZY members Ryujin, Yeji, Chaeryeong, and Yuna appeared as guests to discuss their new mini-album “BORN TO BE”.

During the broadcast, Yeji explained that the concept of this album is “fire flavor,” stating, “We previously promoted with the song ‘Cake,’ which had a bright and lively atmosphere. However, this time, the album focuses more on powerful performances, and the songs themselves are intense. All four of us worked incredibly hard, and it almost felt like we were on fire.”

Meanwhile, Ryujin expressed, “We prepared a lot for this album. Whether it’s in terms of performance or the fact that each member participated in the production of solo songs for the first time, there’s a lot we want to showcase in this album. That’s why we embraced fierce dedication.”

Then, when asked about their practice hours, Chaeryeong surprised Choi Hwa-jung by revealing, “When we practice for a long time, it’s around 8 hours a day.”

Yuna, who had red hair for the promotion, humorously remarked on her hair color, saying, “Isn’t this exactly a ‘fire flavor’? It’s burning.”
