It’s fun even if you stay home on holidays… Lineup of “2022 Chuseok Special Movies”

Good news was delivered to those who will rest at home on the upcoming Chuseok holiday.

Ahead of the “Golden Holiday”, which will last for 4 days, a lineup of Chuseok special movies that can be watched comfortably on TV in the corner of the room has been unveiled.

Nothing Serious

First of all, on Friday (Sep 9th), the first day of the holiday, the movies “The Divine Move 2: The Wrathful”, “On the Line”, “The Policeman’s Lineage”, “Spiritwalker” and “Eomung” will be broadcast.

“The Divine Move 2: The Wrathful” will air on KBS2 at 11:50 PM.

“On the Line”, “The Policeman’s Lineage” and “Spiritwalker” will air on tvN, TV Chosun and JTBC at 8:30 PM, 10 PM and 10:50 PM, respectively.

You can enjoy “Eomung” at 10:30 PM on KBS1.

In particular, “The Divine Move 2: The Wrathful” is a popular work that was released in 2019 and surpassed a whopping 2.15 million viewers.

The Man Stading Next

The work tells the story of Gwi-soo (Kwon Sang-woo), who lost everything due to the game of baduk, losing even his only teacher whom he leaned on, surviving alone and planning revenge.

“Perhaps Love”, “Collectors”, “Hard Hit”, “Nothing Serious” and “The Book of Fish” will air at 8:20 PM, 10:45 PM, 9:20 PM, 10:30 PM and 11:40 PM on SBS, KBS2, KBS2, tvN and SBS, respectively.

Amid the airing of various works, “Collectors” drew particular attention as a crime comedy film released in 2020.

Although “Collectors” was released during the social distancing period, it achieved high results such as surpassing a whopping 1.54 million viewers.

“Nothing Serious”, which deals with the 19+ romance of popular actors Son Seok-koo and Jeon Jong-seo, is also one of the popular movies that should be watched closely.

King Maker

“The Man Standing Next” is a movie that was released in 2020 and attracted a whopping 4.75 million viewers. It depicts the assassination of former President Park Chung-hee in 1979, and became a box office success with the lineup of talented actors including Lee Byung-hun, Kwak Do-won, and Lee Seong-min in the lead roles.

Movies to be aired on the last day of the holiday also boast a solid lineup. On Monday, September 12th, the movies “Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard”, “In Our Prime”, “King Maker” and “Special Cargo” are scheduled to air.

“King Maker” was a movie that was released in January of this year and attracted 780,000 viewers. The film depicts a fierce election war between a politician who dreams of becoming a president and a strategic adviser who helps him. Seol Kyung-gu and Lee Seon-gyun, who have solid acting skills, took on the lead roles.
