It’s been a month since Moonbin passed away but Seventeen Seungkwan is still missing his late friend
Seventeen member Seungkwan expressed his longing for the late Moonbin, who passed away last month.
On May 24th, Seungkwan released a photo of the moon and a star without leaving a caption. It’s been a while since the last time Seungkwan updated his SNS on the 28th of last month.
Seungkwan was shocked when his best friend Moonbin suddenly left the world on the 20th of last month. Seventeen had just started their promotional for the 10th mini album “FML” at that time, so Seungkwan could only participate in some schedules due to his poor health condition after the shock.
Previously, Seungkwan wrote a letter to Moonbin, saying “You were someone who made me see the world differently. It’s hard for me to get along with someone this well”, adding “My friend, Bin ah. You monitored me more attentively than anyone and respected me more than anyone. You were so kind and polite to all the people around me, so whenever you ever came up, everyone would praise you. You were happy and sad for me for every moment, as if my emotions were yours. You hugged and comforted me until the very end and it was never embarrassing for me to say ‘I love you’ to you.”
He added, “Saying that you are a good person is not enough. You’re my lifelong pride. I’m proud to be your friend and thank you so much for being my friend. Let go of the responsibilities, pressures, and guilt. Do everything you want to do, and wait for me. I’m going to bear with everything and live on. I’m going to take care of your loved ones and live while making a lot of memories so that our memories don’t become a blur, not even for a little bit.”
It’s been a little more than a month after the leaving of the late Moonbin, Seungkwan still expressed his longing for his friend through a picture instead of words. Fans who saw Seungkwan’s new photo poured comforting and supportive words, saying the bright moon in the photo reminds them of Moonbin.
The late Moonbin passed away on April 19th. The memorial space set up by Moonbin’s agency will be operated until June 6th, the 49th day after his death.
