INFINITE’s Kim Sunggyu injured his jaw and is currently hospitalized for thorough examination 

INFINITE’s Kim Sunggyu was taken to the hospital due to a jaw injury. 

On August 7th, the agency of INFINITE’s Kim Sunggyu issued an official statement, revealing that Kim Sunggyu suffered a jaw injury during his daily life earlier that day and was taken to the emergency room of a nearby hospital for examination and treatment.

The agency added that a detailed examination of Kim Sunggyu’s injury was required. Therefore, his condition will be informed once the results come back. 

Finally, the agency said, “We ask for your understanding for causing concern with the sudden news. We will continue to prioritize the artists’ health and safety and support Kim Sunggyu to recover as soon as possible. Additional notice of Kim Sunggyu’s future schedule will be provided when detailed results are available.”

Kim Sunggyu has been meeting the audience through the role of Charlie in the musical “Kinky Boots”, starting from July 20th. However, the injury is expected to disrupt his upcoming schedules.
