INFINITE Kim Sung Gyu takes firm legal actions against malicious posts, “Please send additional reports”
INFINITE leader Kim Sung Gyu announced plans to take tough measures against people making malicious posts.
On July 11th, Double HTN, the agency of INFINITE Kim Sung Gyu, said, “Our company would like to inform you that we will take legal action against indiscriminate malicious posts in online communities and on social media related to our artist Kim Sung Gyu.”
They stated, “We have not taken any legal action so far, considering the heart of Kim Sung Gyu, who always listens to fans’ opinions and prioritizes fans”, adding “However, since the actions of certain individuals who post indiscriminate malicious comments have caused concerns and distress among fans who sincerely support and care for Kim Sung Gyu, we can no longer tolerate and overlook this situation.”
The agency plans to take firm responses in the future against malicious slander, personal attacks, defamation, false information spread, and other malicious posts related to their artists, using internally monitored data and information obtained through reports.
Meanwhile, Kim Sung Gyu released his 5th mini album “2023 S/S Collection” on June 28th. He is also preparing for group activities. Kim Sung Gyu’s group INFINITE is scheduled to make their comeback after a five-year hiatus with the new album “13egin” on July 31st.

We would like to inform you that we will take legal action against indiscriminate malicious posts in online communities and on social media related to our artist Kim Sung Gyu.
The company has not taken any legal action so far considering the heart of Kim Sung Gyu, who always listens to fans’ opinions and prioritizes fans. However, since the actions of certain individuals who post indiscriminate malicious comments have caused concerns and distress among fans who sincerely support and care for Kim Sung Gyu, we can no longer tolerate and overlook this situation.
In the future, if we found any malicious posts, such as malicious slander, personal attacks, defamation, and false information spread, through data obtained from our self-monitoring system and reports, we will immediately take firm responses. The company will continue collecting related evidence to protect our artists.
