I.O.I members Jung Chae Yeon, Kim Do Yeon and Choi Yoo Jung gathered, boasting strong friendship

Actress Jung Chae Yeon spent time with I.O.I members.

On April 17th, Jung Chae Yeon posted several photos on her Instagram account with the caption “A day full of strawberries”.

The released pictures show Jung Chae Yeon doing various poses with a drink full of strawberries.

The actress shared her post on Instagram Story and tagged the accounts of Choi Yoo Jung and Kim Do Yeon. She added the caption, “Sincerely thanks to the girls”.

The three used to be active as members of I.O.I, the project girl group that debuted through Mnet’s survival show “Produce 101” in 2016. The group disbanded in January 2017.

They also showed off their long-lasting friendship by hosting a live broadcast to celebrate I.O.I’s 5th debut anniversary in May 2021.

Born in 1997, Jung Chae Yeon is 27 years old this year. She actually began her career in the entertainment industry as a member of the group DIA in 2015.

After I.O.I’s disbandment, she continued to promote with DIA members until the group ended their activities when their exclusive contract expired in September last year. 

Jung Chae Yeon turned to acting and has starred in various works, such as “Drinking Solo”, “Reunited Worlds”, “My First First Love”, “The King’s Affection”, etc. Last year, she was cast for MBC’s drama “The Golden Spoon” and played the role of Na Joo Hee.

Kim Do Yeon and Choi Yoo Jung debuted as Weki Meki members in 2017 after I.O.I disbanded. They are still doing idol activities.

Despite the emergence of new idol groups formed through various audition programs, including other “Produce” series, fans and the public are still missing I.O.I and admiring their friendship.
