Hyun Bin exudes majestic vibes as royalties in historical works

Hyun Bin looks absolutely handsome in his two historical movies “Rampant” and “The Fatal Encounter”.

Having crossed the age of 39, Hyun Bin still looks breathtakingly handsome, with a popularity that seems to be always rising. He is mostly known for his roles in romantic dramas, most notably ‘Crash Landing On You’, where he acted alongside his wife Son Ye Jin. However, Hyun Bin is never a one-trick-pony and has proven his diverse acting in different genres, with two prime examples being historical movies “The Fatal Encounter” (2014) and “Rampant” (2018).

Hyun Bin as King Jeongjo in “The Fatal Encounter”

Based on a real assassination attempt in 1777, King Jeongjo, played by Hyun Bin, lived a life full of danger. To others, the king was always prepared and composed with tricks under his sleeve, but little knew of his deep anxiety.

King Jeongjo only ever trusted his childhood friend Sang Chaek, only to later realize that his sole confidant was an assassin tasked to kill him all along.

Hyun Bin as Prince Lee Chung in “Rampant”

Shedding away his kingly robes, Hyun Bin transformed into a heroic prince in “Rampant”. This suspenseful movie revolves around Prince Lee Chung, who finally returned to his nation after being banished by the Qing Monarchy. It was a bad time, however, as the prince stumbled right into a zombie apocalypse, and had to fight with all his might to protect his people.
