HYBE and YG artists take over Circle Chart’s Global Chart Top 10 

While SM Entertainment is in crisis, HYBE and YG Entertainment are sweeping the “Top 10 Global Charts” by Circle Charts. NewJeans showed their power as a monster rookie by hitting number 1 spot after its comeback.

NewJeans’ songs “OMG” and “Ditto” ranked first and second on the the chart that lasted from from March 5th to 11th. The songs “Hype boy” and “Attention” came in fourth and seventh. The sales of NewJeans’ single album “OMG” also increased by 22,205 with additional 6,089 debut albums sold.

SEVENTEEN unit BooSeokSoon’s comeback “Fighting (Feat. Lee Young Ji)” and LE SSERAFIM’s “ANTIFRAGILE” also scored 14,161,092 points and 11,202,541 points, respectively, in the Circle Index with the latter ranking fifth and the former landing in 10th place for their empowering lyrics. 

Global fans preferred “on the street” by BTS J-Hope. The Circle Index was low at 6.15 million points, but the song managed to rise to third place on global music charts such as Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube Music. It ranked 60th on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and 37th on the U.K. Official Charts Singles Chart.

BTS Jimin ranked ninth with his feature in Taeyang’s “VIBE.” However, the singer will show a different image of himself in the solo song to be released on March 24th.

In addition, BLACKPINK made a comeback in September last year and is on a world tour, continuing YG’s global music power with Taeyang. The group came in sixth place with “Shut Down” and eighth with “Pink Venom.”
