Hwang Min Hyun reveals his feelings after “Alchemy of Souls 2” ended, “The time I lived as Seo Yul was like a dream”
Singer-actor Hwang Min Hyun delivered his final greeting to viewers to wrap up his journey with tvN’s “Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow”.
Hwang Min Hyun expressed his thoughts after the end of his recent drama through agency Pledis Entertainment on January 9th. “Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow (Alchemy of Souls 2)” aired the last episode on January 8th.
In the drama, Hwang Min Hyun plays the role of Seo Yul, a genius young nobleman who as everything, including excellent literary and martial arts, a nice personality, and a handsome appearance. The actor proved his presence with improved acting performances.
First, Hwang Min Hyun said, “I was very honored and happy to be with everyone from Season 1 to Season 2 of ‘Alchemy of Souls’. Meeting such a good drama, I was able to grow further as an actor”.
Recalling the filming, he shared, “For the past three years, I’ve lived with the guilt of not being able to protect my precious people. I did not forget those situations and tried to express Seo Yul’s changes from the outside to the inside”.
Hwang Min Hyun also revealed what the focused on while filming the drama. He smiled and said, “Since Seo Yul had a blood parasite and it sucked all his energy, I practiced many action scenes and went on a diet at the same time within a short period”.
When asked about his most memorable episode, Hwang Min Hyun said, “The scene where I went to meet Jin Bu Yeon at Jeongjingak after finding out that Jin Bu Yeon was actually Naksu. It was very sad”.
Showing his affection and sincere heart for “Alchemy of Souls”, the actor shared, “I was very happy to be part of ‘Alchemy of Souls’. I grew a lot as an actor and as a person throughout that time”, adding, “I will never forget this drama, which has allowed me to create connections with so many good people, including the actors whom I worked with and all the staff members on the set”.
Lastly, he greeted the viewers, saying “The time I lived as Seo Yul was like a dream. I hope Seo Yul will never be forgotten in your memories and will sometimes come to your mind”.
Meanwhile, Hwang Min Hyun has confirmed his appearance in the new drama “Useless Lies”.
