Yang Yo-seob, a member of group HIGHLIGHT, released an apology to his fans.
Yang Yo-seob posted an apology on his Instagram Story on June 30th. He explained the situation, saying “Last evening, I tried to have some talks and communicate with everyone so I joined some open chatrooms”.
The HIGHLIGHT member confessed, “In the process, I also created a few rooms, and this action, along with my behaviors in several particular groups, made some people feel isolated.”
He then apologized, “I’ve always felt like I was the only person who talked and you all just listened whenever we were in crowded places. That’s why I did that, just to communicate with everyone in a different way. Regardless of my intention, the problem was that I made some of you feel bad and it was not until a while later that I realized my actions which were done without careful thoughts.”
He said, “I want to apologize to people who might have felt offended and had various negative feelings because of this incident. I will be more cautious and think more carefully before doing anything in the future. Thank you for reading this long post.”
Yang Yo-seob reportedly joined several open chatrooms on June 29th and communicated directly to particular fans. Later on, he received criticism for forming close relationships with only some fans.

“Last evening, I joined some open chatrooms with lots of members, I tried to have some talks and communicate with you all.
In the process, I also created a few rooms, this action, along with my behaviors in several particular groups made some people feel isolated.
Whenever I went to places with many of you, I’ve always felt like I was the only person who talked and you all just listened to me. I did that just to communicate with everyone in a different way but regardless of my intention, the problem was that I made some of you feel bad and it was not until a while later that I realized my actions which were done without careful thoughts.
Also, right after finishing my filming schedule, I hurriedly posted this.
I want to apologize to people who might have felt offended and had various negative feelings because of this incident.
I will be more cautious and think more carefully before doing anything in the future.
