“High School Rapper” winner and variety star Lee Young Ji auditioned for “Show Me The Money 11”

From Lee Young Ji to Dotty, the applicants for “Show Me The Money 11” are gaining attention. 

Mnet’s hip-hop competition program “Show Me the Money season 11” has kicked off. On August 13th, at the preliminary round held at Namdong Gymnasium in Incheon, a large number of popular applicants showed up and garnered attention.

In particular, Lee Young Ji, the first female winner of “High School Rapper” season 3 and an active entertainer in variety shows, appeared at the audition, drawing netizens’ surprise and expectations. 

In addition, Sleepy, one half of the hip-hop duo Untouchable, YouTuber Dotty with 2.36 million subscribers, and rapper Takewon also challenged in the preliminary round.

Among them, Takewon is a rapper who is known as a master of the underground hip-hop scene. He joined “Show Me The Money” as a contestant again 10 years after being eliminated in season 1, raising expectations.

“Show Me the Money” has been discovering new hip-hop stars every year with many buzzworthy participants. In this season, a record-breaking number of 30,000 applicants have applied for the competition.

The preliminary round of “Show Me The Money 11” will take place until August 14th, and will inevitably be held without on-site registration to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The first broadcast is scheduled for this fall.
