Heo Sung-tae, same-age friend with So Ji-sub and Won-bin, said: “My mom says my face is the trend”

Actor Heo Sung-tae of “Squid Game” mentioned other actors who are of the same age as him (born in 1977). 

MBC’s “the Manager” which aired on Nov 13th, revealed the daily life of actor Heo Sung-tae and his manager. On the same day, Heo Sung-tae came down to his hometown Busan for filming schedule and to meet his mother. Three of them started from his house together, but instead of his manager, Heo Sung-tae took the wheel himself and took his mother to work.

Sitting in the front passenger seat, his mother said, “Please brush your teeth” and “Drinking is the source of trouble. If you don’t drink and manage yourself well, you will look 10 years younger.” Heo Sung-tae then said, “I’m already old. I’m the same age as actor Won Bin.”

Heo Sung-tae, who was watching his own footage at the studio, said, “I’m the same age as So Ji-sub also. I’m sorry.” His playful remarks made everyone laughed, At her son’s funny talk, the mother said, “Your face is as good as Won Bin. Faces like you are the trend,” showing her affection for her son. Heo Sung-tae then shyly said “No”.

Heo Sung-tae then took his mother to the market where she bought a blanket as gift for the CEO and manager to celebrate the birth of his third child. Heo Sung-tae was also proud to see people recognizing her son on the street.
