According to the police and other sources on November 10th, the police reportedly secured a statement that G-Dragon used drugs while investigating A (29 years old), a female head of an adult entertainment establishment who was arrested for her involvement in the drug scandal of actor Lee Sun-kyun (48 years old).
According to Channel A, A stated in a police investigation, “A suspicious wrapping paper was found in a bathroom Kwon Ji-yong used in early December last year,” and “Kwon’s behavior was strange right after that.”
Based on her statement, the criminal case was followed in order to check whether G-Dragon took drugs.
Earlier, the police applied to the court for a search warrant for G-Dragon’s mobile phone communication details, but the court rejected it, saying, “There is a lack of explanation for the crime.” The police had not even applied for a search warrant for the singer’s body.
G-Dragon voluntarily attended police’s investigation on the 6th and submitted urine, hair, and nails. A thorough drug test is yet to be made. In the end, the police are waiting for the results of the detailed drug test with only a statement of “doubt” from A.
In the meantime, G-Dragon was suspected of attempting to destroy evidence by attending the police with his entire body shaved. G-Dragon strongly protested the allegations.
