Nam Joo-hyuk Praised For His Unchanging Visual And Improved Acting In New Drama ‘Vigilante’

Although Nam Joo-hyuk is fulfilling his military service, the actor still made headlines recently with the release of his new drama “Vigilante”. After airing 2 episodes, “Vigilante” has received favorable reviews and is expected to become another Disney+ hit following “Moving” and “The Worst Of Evil”.

According to Kinolights on November 9th, “Vigilante” topped the popularity rankings on Disney+. On IMDB, the drama also recorded 7.6/10 for the first two broadcasts. Most of the compliments from viewers are for the perfect performances of the cast and impressive action scenes.

“Vigilante” centers around Kim Ji-yong (Nam Joo-hyuk), a model student from the police academy who protects the law during the day but lives as ‘Vigilante’ to punish criminals who evade the law at night. The reason he becomes ‘Vigilante’ is due to a story in the past when his mother was murdered violently but the murderer was only imprisoned for 3 years.

This is the first time Nam Joo-hyuk challenged the action genre since his debut in 2009. Despite presenting a completely new image, the actor impressed viewers with his outstanding acting beyond expectations.

In the past, Nam Joo-hyuk has been embroiled in controversy over his acting skills many times. However, after starring in “Twenty-Five Twenty-One” and then “Vigilante”, he has shown improvements in acting.
