He gained popularity with “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” but… Kang Tae-oh suffered a heartbroken thing

Actor Kang Tae-oh confessed that he suffered from the malicious comments he received through “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”.

In an interview with Wikitree at a cafe in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on August 17th, two days before the end of ENA’s “Extraordinary Attorney Woo“, Kang Tae-oh said, “Even if there are 100 positive posts, I feel bad when I see one negative post.”

When asked about the most memorable reaction, Kang Tae-oh replied, “Thankfully, people said so many good things. But I try not to look at them. There are a lot of pre-productions these days. There are cases where the drama’s airing overlaps with filming.”

He added, “Thank you for your interest in the line ‘I’m disappointed’, but I didn’t think I’d be able to concentrate when there was the line ‘I’m disappointed’ again. I tried not to look at viewers’ reactions in an objective way because I thought I’d overexpress without realizing it.”

In particular, Kang Tae-oh confessed that he was hurt when seeing malicious comments. He said with a smile, “I thought I’d act cool, but I felt bad when seeing negative posts. Even if there are 100 positive posts, it hurts as if I’m getting an arrow (in my heart) when I see one negative post. When I see malicious comments, I press ‘Dislike’ first.”

“Extraordinary Attorney Woo” tells the survival story of Woo Young-woo, a rookie lawyer who has a genius brain and autism spectrum disorder, at law firm Hanbada. “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”, which started with 0.95% (Nielsen Korea, based on paid households nationwide), recorded 17.5% nationwide in the last episode, breaking its own highest ratings and achieving a successful conclusion.
