“Hangout With Yoo” project group WSG WANNABE’s debut song tops TV ratings and music charts

WSG WANNABE tops real-time music charts with the announcement of their debut songs.

In the MBC variety show “Hangout With Yoo” aired on July 9th, WSG WANNABE, a 12-member project group with 3 teams Gaya-G, 4FIRE and Oh Ah Siso, released their debut songs ‘At That Moment’, ‘I Missed You’, ‘Clink Clink.’ 

The debut songs of the three WSG WANNABE teams showed off their firepower by sweeping the first, second, and third place on various real-time music charts on the night of July 9th. Gaya-G’s “At That Moment” also topped the Melon Top 100 chart, recording all-kill on the charts. The debut songs, which feature the individuality and color of the three teams, captivated fans with various genres such as medium tempo ballad, country reggae R&B, and pop dance.

The show’s ratings also topped entertainment shows on Saturday. According to the TV ratings agency Nielsen Korea, “Hangout With Yoo?” aired on the 9th’ had the household audience rating of 6.0% in the metropolitan area. Its ratings of 2049 – a key data of channel competitiveness – topped the list of all programs aired on Saturday with 3.8%. The minute with the highest ratings is a scene in which four members of Gaya-G shouted, “We have to go, we have to go, we have to go to the top!” as they prepared for the “At The Moment” live performance, and the highest viewer rating per minute soared to 7.5%.
