As a result of big data analysis in July, BLACKPINK surpassed IVE and fromis_9 to take first place on the girl group brand reputation chart.
The Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation analyzed 45,599,648 brand big data measured from June 10 to July 10 for girl group brand reputation big data analysis and measured the brand reputation index with participation index, media index, communication index, and community index. Compared to 47,572,950 girl group brand big data in June, it decreased by 4.15%.
Accordingly, the BLACKPINK brand, which ranked first in the girl group brand reputation, was analyzed with a brand reputation index of 3,133,666 with a participation index of 173,536, a media index of 820,680, a communication index of 528,436, a community index of 1,611,014. Compared with the brand reputation index of 3,335,959 in June, it fell by 6.06%.
Taking second place, the IVE brand was surveyed with a brand reputation index of 3,120,003 with a participation index of 345,712, a media index of 831,219, a communication index of 489,041, and a community index of 1,454,031. Compared with the brand reputation index of 3,216,154 in June, it fell by 2.99%.
The 3rd place – fromis_9 brand showed a brand reputation index of 2,882,432 with a participation index of 236,708, a media index of 709,146, a communication index of 728,519, and a community index of 1,208,059. Compared with the brand reputation index of 1,027,793 in June, it increased by 180.45%.
In 4th place, the (G)I-DLE brand was revealed with a brand reputation index of 2,719,855 with a participation index of 138,312, a media index of 651,637, a communication index of 735,513, and a community index of 1,194,394. Compared with the brand reputation index of 3,319,347 in June, it decreased by 18.06%.
In fifth place, the Twice brand was analyzed with a brand reputation index of 2,709,945, with a participation index of 172,992, a media index of 977,597, a communication index of 481,603, and a community index of 1,077,753. Compared with the brand reputation index of 2,892,193 in June, it fell 6.30%.
Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, said, “As a result of the analysis of girl group brand reputation in July 2022, the BLACKPINK brand ranked first. Looking at the girl group brand category, the number of girl group brand big data decreased by 4.15% compared to the 47,572,950 girl group brand big data in June. According to the detailed analysis of girl group brand big data, brand consumption fell by 10.56%, brand issue fell by 2.26%, brand communication fell by 10.79%, and brand spread fell by 1.04%,” he said.
