Han So Hee departed for Cannes, France through Incheon International Airport on the morning of May 15. As a global ambassador for a luxury jewelry brand, the actress is scheduled to attend the ongoing 79th Cannes Film Festival as well as the Kering Group’s 2026 Women In Motion Awards event.

In photos from the airport, Han So Hee captured attention wearing a flowing halter-neck outfit that highlighted her slender visuals. A partially visible tattoo on her side also became a hot topic online.

The actress was previously known for enjoying body tattoos before her acting debut and reportedly spent around 20 million KRW to remove them as she began her career in the entertainment industry.

At the same time, speculation has emerged that Han So Hee could reunite with her former boyfriend Ryu Jun Yeol at Cannes after reports surfaced that the actor was also spotted at the festival.

On May 14, a Japanese film industry insider uploaded a photo taken with Ryu Jun Yeol on X, formerly Twitter. The individual explained, “I happened to run into Ryu Jun Yeol at the Cannes Film Festival. It seemed like he came as a buyer.”

The insider continued by saying that after mentioning they had previously distributed a Korean film, Ryu Jun Yeol asked which movie it was.

They added, “I thought it might be a little awkward because it was a movie starring Han So Hee, but when I said it was ‘Heavy Snow,’ Ryu Jun Yeol smiled and responded, ‘A Han So Hee movie? Of course I know it!’”

Back in 2024, news of Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee’s relationship sparked major controversy after Hyeri, who had publicly dated Ryu Jun Yeol for nearly eight years, posted a cryptic message on social media. The post fueled so-called “transit dating” allegations among netizens.

Han So Hee later addressed the situation herself through social media, causing the controversy to grow even bigger online. Eventually, Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee announced their breakup just around two weeks after publicly confirming their relationship.

Now, nearly two years later, the former couple’s names are once again being mentioned together, with many netizens wondering whether the two might unexpectedly cross paths in Cannes.
