Han Hyo-joo Won Best Series Actress For “Moving” At The 59th Grand Bell Awards

With her excellent performance in “Moving”, Han Hyo-joo not only gained compliments but also won Best Actress

On the evening of November 15th, the 59th Grand Bell Awards was held at the Grand Theater of Gyeonggi Arts Center located in Paldal-gu, Suwon. Hosted by Cha In-pyo and Jang Do-yeon, the award ceremony presented a fierce competition of diverse works nominated in different categories.

Best Series Actress went to Han Hyo-joo, who played Lee Mi-hyun in Disney+’s original series “Moving”.

Appearing on the stage, the actress gave her acceptance speech with emotional eyes. She said, “I think I’m receiving this award on behalf of ‘Moving’ team. Many people worked hard to make the character Lee Mi-hyun exist”, adding “I believe that I wouldn’t have achieved this on my own.”

Han Hyo-joo then sincerely revealed how she felt before appearing on “Moving”. She said, “I almost refused the casting offer because I thought I was not old enough to play the role of a mother. But I ended up doing it because the story was so heartwarming and it made me feel a sense of righteousness. Although it’s harsh, I hope it’s a world where good and kind people can be happy”.
