Actor Kim Sun-ho won the Best New Actor award at the 59th Grand Bell Awards
The 59th Grand Bell Awards were held at the Grand Theater Convention Hall of the Gyeonggi Arts Center on the afternoon of November 15th. Cha In-pyo and Jang Do-yeon were the hosts and the ceremony was broadcast live on Naver TV and ENA.
On this day, Kim Seon-ho won the Best New Actor Award for his role in “The Childe.” The actor took the stage and said, “Thank you director Park Hoon-jung for reaching out so that I could do this movie,” and added, “Thank you to all the staff, actors, and officials.”
He continued, “I appreciate the audience who loved ‘The Childe’, all the people who supported me, and the fans,” adding, “It’s my first time in a movie, but everyone’s hard work and passion were put in. I was happy and honored to be able to spend that time with you.”
In the meantime, Kim Seon-ho made people laugh by tanking “father, father” instead of “father, mother.” MC Jang Do-yeon tactfully concluded the situation, saying, “I think his father will be very happy.”
