Haewon honestly discusses NMIXX’s comeback after member Jinni’s departure.

NMIXX’s leader Haewon spoke candidly about the group’s current six-member lineup at a recent showcase.

On March 20th, girl group NMIXX held a showcase to celebrate the release of their new mini-album at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjang-dong, Seoul. Here, all six members of NMIXX (Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, Kyujin) attended.

As a rookie girl group from JYP Entertainment, NMIXX debuted on February 22nd of last year and proved their potential as “all-rounder rookies” by successfully continuing their activities with their second single album “ENTWURF”.

In their debut year, NMIXX achieved outstanding results, surpassing one million cumulative album sales.

Their first mini-album “Expérgo” has a special meaning and is expected to lead their leap forward.

On the day of the showcase, the group’s leader, Haewon, stated, “We will show you a more diverse and mature NMIXX through this comeback. Please look forward to it.”

Meanwhile, member Bae expressed her nervousness and tension, Jiwoo stated that they have prepared a lot for the comeback, and Sullyoon added, “We have prepared well for our first mini-album.”

After Jinni’s departure in December last year, there may be special determination for NMIXX’s first comeback as a six-member group. However, Haewon explained, “Since our debut, we have been working hard to show our unique color, and we are making efforts to realize and further develop our identity as NMIXX. We expect our fans to continue to love and support the current six-member lineup.”

On the other hand, NMIXX’s new title track “Love Me Like This” is a song that mixes bouncy rap and R&B-style vocals. It was produced by the world-famous production team LDN Noise. The lyrics express the true connection and transformation process of people who have come to love themselves and each other through an addictive melody.

NMIXX’s first mini-album is released on March 20th at 6 PM (KST).
