GOT7’s JAY B and rapper Sik-K confirmed to part ways with HIGHR MUSIC

Exclusive contracts of JAY B and Sik-K have expired. 

On July 25th, global hip-hop label H1GHR MUSIC announced, “Our exclusive contracts with artists Sik-K and JAY B, who have a wide range of musical capabilities and passion, have come to an end.” 

Sik-K has been with HIGHR MUSIC since the beginning of his career when he came out of Mnet’s “Show Me the Money 4” as a contestant in 2015. After that, starting with his debut single “My Man”, Sik-K released various singles and mini-albums, as well as full albums “FL1P”, “HEADLINER” and its deluxe version, showing off his unique colors. Sik-K’s releases received much love from listeners in the domestic hip-hop scene.

Since joining HIGHR MUSIC in March 2021, GOT7’s JAY B has actively engaged in various activities as a soloist, gaining great support from global music fans. His first solo single “Switch It Up” released last year and first EP “SOMO:FUME” achieved both positive reviews and good results. The leader of GOT7 reached the top of global charts with the song “Nostalgia” which he wrote, composed and sung with JUNNY.

JAYB has been steadily doing various activities with the support of HIGHR MUSIC even after the expiration of his exclusive contract in March this year. He recently held an online and offline concert “Nostalgic.”
