GOT7 shared, “It feels like a dream that we are making a comeback as a whole group. It was not easy but we’re really happy”
Boy group GOT7 (JAY B, Mark, Jackson, Jin-young, Young-jae, Bam Bam, Yu-gyeom) expressed feelings about their group comeback.
GOT7 held a press conference to commemorate the release of their new mini-album “GOT7” at 2 p.m on May 23rd at the Voco Seoul Gangnam Hotel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. At the event, the members revealed their honest thoughts about making a comeback as a whole group.
Mark began by saying, “We have been preparing for GOT7’s comeback since last year. With the feeling that we could finally make a group comeback, we couldn’t wait to meet fans. We really enjoyed the time we prepared for this album.”
JAY B shared, “I’m so happy that we are making a comeback as a whole group with all 7 members. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the members’ companies and Warner Music officials for helping us make it. I feel like a dream. Although seven of us had talked about making a group comeback from the beginning, I still feel so touched seeing this dream-like moment really come true.”
Jackson said, “We missed our fans a lot. Warner Music helped us a lot. We have 7 members and each of us has our own team and company. Leader hyung (JAY B) worked really hard. It was not an easy thing to do. We successfully made it and I’m so so happy about that.”
Jin-young continued, “As Mark hyung said, we promised to release an album from the beginning. We have waited for the right time to come quickly. I feel so thankful that we could return to fans, who have been waiting for us, this fast. I feel so lucky to receive a chance to be here together and repay fans. We met each other a lot and only discussed when the album would be released. We kept our promise and came to this place together.”
Young-jae added, “First of all, all 7 members were very excited about this so I think our comeback would come really soon. Seeing everyone who have waited for us at the concert yesterday, I felt so thankful. It was so lucky that we were able to enjoy the stage as much as you have been waiting for us. The album will be released soon, so please give a lot of love for it. Thank you.”
Bam Bam said, “We have prepared for this comeback for such a long time but we really enjoyed it and had so much fun. During the preparation, we once again realized that GOT7 would only be completed with 7 members. It was such a precious time.”
Yu-gyeom also confessed, “It feels so good to do this with all 7 members together. Our fans have been waiting for such a long time. We’ve prepared as much as you have waited so I hope everyone would love it. Thank you.”
GOT7’s new album “GOT7” will be released on various music sites at 6 p.m. The title song “NANANA” is written and composed by leader JAY B. It’s a catchy song with pop sound and guitar loop that shows GOT7’s unique refreshing vibe.
