According to Taiwanese media outlet ETtoday, GOT7’s Jackson was hospitalized late at night on August 15 due to acute symptoms of food poisoning.
On August 16, his agency TEAM WANG RECORDS released an official statement confirming the incident and announcing the cancellation of the MUSIC KOREA fan signing event.
The agency stated: “It is with great regret that we inform fans of the unavoidable cancellation of today’s scheduled fan sign event. Jackson was transported to the ER at midnight due to sudden food poisoning and is currently under medical care. He requires rest and recovery under the supervision of doctors.”
They also apologized to fans, adding that they are coordinating with MUSIC KOREA to reschedule the event as soon as possible: “We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to fans who were looking forward to this event. A new fan sign schedule will be announced shortly.”
Despite the setback, Jackson is expected to continue preparations for his upcoming “MAGIC MAN 2 World Tour 2025–2026,” which is set to begin in October and bring him to fans worldwide.
Fans across social media have expressed concern for the singer’s health, flooding timelines with messages wishing him a speedy recovery.
