It took a decade for GOT7 BamBam to realize that the American pop star Rihanna mentioned his name way back in 2012.
After leaving JYP Entertainment, GOT7 recently reunited in their latest album “GOT7” with the title song “NaNaNa”. As part of the promotions, hashtags of each member’s name on Twitter will be attached with a photo of the respective member’s face, and every post, past or present, will have this added photo.
The GOT7 member BamBam is an avid Twitter user, and would spend a lot of time posting funny memes and joking around with other members on this network site. He’d even answer fans who don’t even mention him, so the new hashtag feature got BamBam even more excited.
As a result, BamBam discovered a post by Rihanna’s official account, which was published… 10 years ago, before GOT7 even debuted!. In the tweet, the pop singer included the hashtag #BAMBAM, and while it was unclear who she was mentioning, her post now has GOT7 BamBam on it.
The added photo of BamBam’s face made it as if Rihanna is retaliating against the male idol, to which BamBam replied: “Okay… the face make it even more scary”.
As of the moment, there has been no response coming from Rihanna’s side. The US star has abstained from Twitter since giving birth to her first child with male rapper A$AP Rocky. Hopefully, fans will get to see a funny interaction upon Rihanna’s return.
