Goo Hye-sun Shares Childhood Photo & Touching Message, “We Wander Because We Are Pure”
Actress Goo Hye-sun cited a touching sentence from her own book “Tango” to express her gratitude to others
On May 31st, Goo Hye-sun posted a childhood photo and left a warm message on her personal account. She expressed her gratitude, saying “Thank you to all the people who watched the broadcast yesterday and sent me warm messages of support”.
She continued, “Among those messages, there was one from 6-year-old Goo Hye-sun restored by AI. Suddenly, the sentence, ‘We wander because we are pure’, from my first novel ‘Tango’, which I wrote when I was in my 20s, came to my mind. I want to share this with you guys”.
Meanwhile, Goo Hye-sun appeared on the May 30th broadcast of Channel A’s “Oh Eun-young’s Counseling Center”. On the program, Dr. Oh Eun-young introduced actress Goo Hye-sun, saying “She’s a multi-talented artist who can be a singer, writer, and film director”.
It’s been 22 years since Goo Hye-sun’s debut. She dominated the small screen in the 2000s with the popular drama “Boys Over Flower” and has recently been working as a film director. Goo Hye-sun has produced nine projects as a director, written several books, and even composed songs by herself.
When asked about her recent status, Goo Hye-sun confessed that she was suffering from pet loss syndrome. She shared, “I adopted some dogs and raised some others. It was difficult to give and share my love for them all. I had to act as if I loved them despite not truly loving them. I couldn’t give them all my love. But that was the best I could do so I feel very sorry. I wanted to hug them, but I couldn’t. I feel sorry for not being able to give them my complete love.”
