Amber, a former member of f(x), opened up about her dating experience.
According to Chinese media outlet Sina on June 7th, Amber publicly shared her dating story during a live broadcast. Amber opened up by saying, “I have fallen for many ‘trashy’ people, and I’m glad they’re all in the past. I haven’t found the right person yet.”
Amber went on to reveal, “I have been gaslighted by all the boyfriends I’ve had until my friends pointed it out, and I didn’t realize it before.”
She continued, “My ex-boyfriends didn’t even remember my birthday,” and honestly confessed, “One really terrible ex took a lot of my money. I almost went bankrupt. It was extremely painful.”
Amber also said, “Being good to everyone is something I wanted to do, but now I’m tired of it. Still, I want to remain a good person.”
Amber debuted as a member of f(x) in 2009. The group released numerous hit songs such as “NU ABO,” “Hot Summer,” “Pinocchio,” “Red Light,” and “Rum Pum Pum Pum.”
In 2019, Amber terminated her contract with SM Entertainment, and did not engage in any significant activities until she signed an exclusive contract with an agency in the United States and made a solo debut.
Recently, Amber appeared on the Chinese TV show “Sisters Who Make Waves 2023” and gained popularity. “Sisters Who Make Waves 2023” is the fourth season of the popular Chinese audition program “Sisters Who Make Waves” that first aired in 2020. It is a survival audition program that depicts the process of female entertainers over the age of 30 competing to re-debut in a girl group.
