Actress and director Goo Hye Sun showed up at the Busan International Film Festival with a completely changed figure in 5 days.
On October 5th, Goo Hye Sun attended the red carpet event of the 27th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) held at the outdoor stage of the Busan Cinema Center in Haeundae-gu.
On this day, Goo Hye Sun stepped on the red carpet as a director, not an actress, and appeared alongside her junior Ahn Seo Hyun. She drew attention with her noticeably slim appearance only a few days after showing up looking like she had put on some weight. Her face became skinnier after just 5 days. Goo Hye Sun wore nude-toned high heels and a mini black lace dress, showing off her thin legs.
Previously, Goo Hye Sun appeared on the red carpet for the opening ceremony of the 27th Chunsa International Film Festival held at Sowol Art Hall in Seongdong-gu, Seoul on September 30th. Attending as a jury member of the film festival, she wore a plaid miniskirt and jacket and a black fedora. Her puffy visuals on that day made some fans worried about her health. As she lost 14 kg in the previous two months after successfully dieting, her sudden chubby face aroused curiosity.
Afterwards, Goo Hye Sun posted on her personal Instagram, “I was a little tired, so I’ve gained weight…! I’ll definitely recover and go to the Busan International Film Festival. I’ll see you at the Busan International Film Festival on October 5th and 6th.”
By “because I was a little tired”, she was referring to the death of her dog, Gamja. Last month, Goo Hye Sun shared on Instagram, “My everything, the angel, Gamja, went to heaven a month ago. It rained a lot a month ago. Thank you to the fans. Gamja will forever be in my heart. I would like to express my sincere gratitude once again to those who loved Gamja. I love you Gamja.”
Meanwhile, on October 6th, Goo Hye Sun is scheduled to hold an outdoor stage greeting and GV (conversation with the audience) at BIFF Square in Jung-gu, Busan for her self-directed feature film “Peach Tree”.
