Goo Hye Sun (born 1984) is a South Korean actress, singer, songwriter, director, and painter. She first made an impression on the audience through the dramas Pure In Heart, The King And I, but it was not until 2009 when she played Boys Over Flowers that she became a famous star.
After the success of “Boys Over Flowers”, Goo Hye Sun continued to take on the main roles in “The Music”, then “Take Care of Us”, “Captain”, “Absolute Boyfriend”,… However, none of her works were as successful as “Boys Over Flowers”. The audience applauded their marriage, especially since Goo Hye Sun has never openly loved or dated anyone else in her whole career. The couple received even more blessings when they announced that instead of organizing a marriage ceremony, they would contribute money to Severance Hospital’s pediatric department.
Their marriage also ended quickly. On August 18, 2019, Goo Hye Sun posted a photo of a text message between her and her husband, talking about their divorce. After that, she released a series of proof that she was a victim of a deadlocked marriage. She received a lot of sympathy from the audience. But her complaining too much on social media put her in a disadvantageous situation.
