As Korean SF films are gaining keen attention in the industry, movie producers are trying to develop VFX skills and techniques. The scope of Korean SF films has expanded a lot thanks to the success of “Space Sweepers”, Choi Dong Hoon’s “Alienoid Part 1”, and the most recent release – Netflix’s “Jung_E”.

The fact that Wysiwyg Studios, which was in charge of VFX for “The Witch” and “Space Sweepers”, will participate in “Finding the King” as the main investor and co-producer also shows a significant change in the film industry.

“Finding the King” will begin filming in the first half of this year and is expected to premiere next year.
