(G)I-DLE’s Shuhua Spotted with Male Actor in New Zealand During Hiatus
Despite going on hiatus due to health issues, (G)I-DLE’s Shuhua was spotted with a male actor in New Zealand, sparking discussions.
According to media outlet “star.setn” on March 19 (local time), (G)I-DLE’s Shuhua was recently seen walking along the streets of New Zealand with Taiwanese actor Chen Bolin, who was holding an action cam, along with a broadcaster. Photos of Chen Bolin and Shuhua together garnered heated attention in the Taiwanese community.
Taiwanese netizens speculate that since Chen Bolin and the aforementioned broadcaster are hosting a Taiwanese travel entertainment program, Shuhua might be appearing on the show.
This isn’t the first time sightings of Shuhua have been reported since her hiatus. Previously on March 2, various media sites reported that Shuhua was seen at a Taiwanese department store. Following this report, claims of the female idol appearing at night markets, airports, amusement parks, and horse riding facilities surfaced.
As sightings of Shuhua continue to arise, netizens had mixed reactions. Some criticized, saying that the Shuhua’s activity suspension is a burden to other (G)I-DLE members, and that instead of going around, she should rest quietly to make a quick return.
However, others showed understanding, stating that it’s normal for sick people to go out while recovering, and staying at home all day may make people even more sick.
On the other hand, the agency of (G)I-DLE, Cube Entertainment, previously announced that due to recent health issues, Shuhua visited the hospital and received medical advice stating that she needs sufficient rest and stability, and thus will temporarily halt activities.
