Miyeon posted a message on her social media account on December 31st, saying, “To the viewers of MBC Drama Awards and NEVERLANDs, I was so happy to be able to sing my favorite song to congratulate such a honorable event, but I was very nervous and the pitch… I really messed up.“
“After seeing the performance, you must have been very surprised. I am sorry to those who were disappointed and I will do my best tin the future.” I also enjoyed the SBS Entertainment Awards. Thank you for joining me,” she added.
Earlier on December 30, Miyeon attended the 2023 MBC Drama Awards held at the MBC Public Hall in Mapo-gu, Seoul. She performed the original sound track “The Painted On The Moonlight” of the drama “My Dearest.” Wearing a dress with a hanbok style, Miyeon showed off her beautiful appearance and elegant charm.
However, some expressed regret over Miyeon’s off-pitched stage, which showed her nervousness.
Later, Miyeon’s celebration stage has been posted on various video platforms such as Naver TV and YouTube. However, it was later removed from Naver TV. The video was re-released hours later.
