“My Dearest” Namkoong Min and Ahn Eun-jin win Best Couple with 72% support + Miyeon’s congratulatory performance (MBC Drama Awards)

On December 30th, the “2023 MBC Drama Awards” took place at MBC Media Center Public Hall in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The Best Couple Award went to Namkoong Min and Ahn Eun-jin of “My Dearest“.

Ahn Eun-jin expressed her gratitude, “The Best Couple Award was the one I wanted the most while working on ‘My Dearest’. The drama’s title is ‘Lover’ (Korean title), and because I wanted to convey the love story of Jang-hyun and Gil-chae well, I eagerly desired this award. Thanks to everyone who voted, we received the Best Couple Award. Besides, I sincerely thank Senior Namkoong Min for looking at Gil-chae with lovely eyes. Thanks to you, I was able to complete the year well.“

Namkoong Min shared, “It’s a combination of melodrama. She said I looked at her with lovely eyes, but she did well in a lovely way. She helped me in terms of acting. It seems like our acting chemistry matched very well. In particular, since it’s an award given by netizens, I want to express my gratitude to those who loved our couple.”

MC Kim Sung-joo of the “2023 MBC Drama Awards” caused surprise by saying, “Please look forward to what award the Jang-chae couple will receive in the second part. They received a whopping 155,038 votes, 72.6% support.”

Afterwards, (G)I-DLE’s Miyeon presented a congratulatory performance with the OST “The Painted On The Moonlight” of “My Dearest”.
