Comebacks are extremely busy times for Kpop idols, and (G)I-DLE member Yuqi recently went into details regarding their taxing daily routines.
“When we’re back with an album, here’s what the first week is like”, she said. “We start moving without sleep and reach the salon at one (A.M). As there are five of us, it usually takes 3 hours for everyone to be done”.
Then, according to Yuqi, they’d travel to the broadcasting station and “sleep a little on the way there”, before they start recording for the music show at around 5 or 6 A.M.
(G)I-DLE would then start their dry rehearsal, camera rehearsal, and pre-recording, which takes almost 2 hours.
“After the show, since it’s the first day of the comeback, we film some contents in between our schedules. Once we change our outfits right away and film a content, we can have a small break for 2 hours”, Yuqi continued.
The group would then film another content at around 10 A.M, and perhaps a VCR, making them very busy during comeback periods.
Yuqi then shared about her eating and drinking habits, before continuing the discussion about her schedule.
“In the afternoon, we do live music shows and interviews.“By the time we finish those, it’s already around 7 or 8 P.M,” Yuqi said.
Then, the group would head to fan signing events, which concludes at around 9 to 10 P.M, before they can finally go home an shower, and during busy periods, they would have to get up after just one hour of sleep, Yuqi shared.
In fact, the schedule is so hectic, the female idol would sleep in the car more than at home.
At the end of the day, Yuqi would do her skincare routine, take care of herself, do a massage, and head to bed. Within comeback seasons, she’d also spend around an hour to monitor her performances and contents within the day, and even come up with gestures to use for the day after.
Born in 1999, Yuqi is a prominent member of the famous group (G)I-DLE, and is active in both China and Korea. Her group recently came back with the title song “Tomboy”, which is a huge hit in Korea.
