The members of (G)I-DLE talked about their blond hair concept for the group’s latest comeback.
On October 25th, (G)I-DLE members Miyeon, Minnie, and Shuhua appeared as guests on KBS cool FM’s radio program “Gikwang’s Song Plaza”.
On the same day, the radio host Lee Gikwang asked the girl group, “All of you dyed your hair blonde, is it Soyeon’s idea?”
Hearing this, the present (G)I-DLE started to share the behind story, saying, “Since Shuhua was willing to do it, we were able to go blonde together. Shuhua dyed his hair for the first time since she was born. At this, Minnie even shed tears of emotions.”
In response, Lee Gikwang exclaimed, “In a way, it’s self-sacrifice. I can’t believe you’re bleaching your hair for the first time in your life for an album.”
Miyeon also explained about Jeon Soyeon‘s album preparations, adding, “Soyeon unnie talked about the direction she wanted to go because she was thinking about the album concept as a whole while writing the song.”
