(G)I-DLE Continues Comeback Activities Despite Two Members’ Health Hiatus

According to Cube Entertainment on January 30th, (G)I-DLE’s Miyeon, Soyeon, and Shuhua are set to appear as guests on KBS CoolFM’s ‘Lee Eunji’s Gayo Plaza,’ scheduled to be broadcast at noon.

Previously, the official homepage of ‘Lee Eunji’s Gayo Plaza’ also listed (G)I-DLE as guests for the day, but it was later corrected, confirming that only Miyeon, Soyeon, and Shuhua would be appearing.

Cube Entertainment announced on January 27th that Minnie and Yuqi had halted all schedules due to health issues, focusing on sufficient rest and treatment.

Despite the anticipation for a full-group comeback promotions after the release of their second full album ‘2 (TWO)’ on January 29th, two members had to pause their activities.

The press conference scheduled for the release of (G)I-DLE’s new album on the comeback day was also abruptly canceled.

After the album’s release on January 29th, featuring the title track ‘Super Lady,’ uncertainties lingered regarding (G)I-DLE’s comeback activities due to Minnie and Yuqi’s absence.

With the radio schedule planned for January 29th, the three-member lineup will be the focus of attention as fans wonder what they will share during the broadcast.

Earlier, (G)I-DLE faced controversy with the pre-released track ‘Wife’, which stirred debates due to its provocative lyrics. The song has been banned from broadcast by KBS. Despite the suggestive nuances in the lyrics drawing criticism, (G)I-DLE conveyed their intention not to apply for re-evaluation.
