On February 6, a new video titled “Not AI. Shocking Lee Soo-hyuk X G-Dragon Really Showed Up” was released on the YouTube channel Zip Daesung. During the episode, Daesung asked G-Dragon about his reputation as an active “like fairy” on Instagram, saying, “You’re active as Kwon Ji-yong too, but on Instagram you’re famous for constantly liking posts. What’s your standard for hitting ‘like’?”

Lee Soo-hyuk jumped in with a blunt guess, joking, “I think he messes up sometimes. Maybe he just goes by quantity. He just presses everything.” His comment brought back memories of last month’s incident, when G-Dragon briefly liked and then unliked a short-form video featuring Jennie’s stage performance, reigniting old dating rumors between the two.

Responding candidly, G-Dragon said, “That actually makes sense. I need to promote my own stuff, right? When I upload official promotions, I end up seeing so many amazingly talented fans. When I give feedback like, ‘Thanks for the support,’ they get excited and work even harder. Honestly, I don’t really have any criteria for liking posts. Whenever I have a bit of free time, I scroll and tap really fast. I’ve basically worn my fingerprints down.”

When G-Dragon compared himself to a “power blogger” from the past, Lee Soo-hyuk teased him again, saying, “People who didn’t get a like might feel left out, so while you’re trying to find them, you end up making a mistake.” G-Dragon admitted, “I do make mistakes a lot. My hands are kind of big.”

Through the lighthearted exchange, G-Dragon made it clear that the controversial “like” was not intentional or meaningful, but simply the result of his habit of rapidly engaging with fan content on social media.
