The uploaded clips showed the family enjoying a vacation in Thailand. Shortly after arriving at the airport, local fans recognized Gary and Hao and approached them to ask for commemorative photos. Gary and his son happily responded with bright smiles and V-sign poses, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The photo requests did not stop at the airport. As the family walked around the city, more people recognized Gary and Hao and asked to take pictures with them. In particular, Gary has been largely absent from television since leaving KBS2’s The Return of Superman in 2021, making the continued attention from overseas fans even more remarkable and highlighting his lasting global popularity.
